Make some really rare conditions need to be met in order to get certain mons. Require me to do a tedious list of things to get a certain food to lure a certain pokemon, and require me to do this for each time I want it. Is it a pain in the ass? Yes. Will I likely complain? Yes. But it will expand the world 100x over and make the rare pokemon truly feel rare.
